Senior (or mid-level) Software Developer - (Full-time position. Salary negotiable $120-$150K)

We enjoy working on a wide range of projects - whether it’s complex integration work, custom app development, global trading platforms, accounting systems, portals and more. We need another developer who is a solid, reliable performer with a proven track record and skill set. We offer flexibility with the hours including some WFH, however, we take our data security obligations very seriously so that’s a factor we also consider.

Your Role: As a senior (or mid-level) developer, you will work on a range of different projects (large and small) with a talented team of developers. Our developers work across the full-stack and we have large systems that we design, develop, host and support. Thus, you could be involved with custom development, cloud infrastructure, reporting and business intelligence projects, custom integration, scoping, design and supporting and enhancing existing business applications.

About You: While you will enjoy programming, working with a set of professional colleagues, having challenging and diverse work and being valued as an important team player will also appeal to you.You will have integrity, pride in your work and your word will be relied upon. You will also have:  

  • A degree (or significant verifiable experience in IT or a related area)   
  • Experience using various databases and ETL tools 
  • Strong understanding of data structures, DB performance and security dimensions   
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and being able to work with technical and non-technical clients.
  • Minimum 3 years software development/engineering experience

From a technical perspective, these are the core technologies we use and we need staff experienced with most of them, if not all.  

  • Experience with front end technologies and frameworks including:
    • Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS and Typescript, C# (5+), MVC5, HTML, JavaScript, CSS3, jQuery  
    • SQL   
    • OWASP rules   
    • OAuth/OpenID Connect, SAML   
  • Strong understanding of SQL server 
  • Android and iOS experience   
  • Strong understanding of .Net Framework 4.x/.net Core   
  • Strong understanding of Entity Framework/ Entity Framework Core   
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
