Our Engagement Process
At CIBIS we work closely with each of our clients to ensure that we understand their unique requirements and through that close association we translate those needs into a successful solution, implementation and subsequent support environment.
Depending on your needs, CIBIS will either work with you to deploy a standard solution or we will customise a solution for you in conjunction with a professional services engagement.
The following represents our typical engagement process; however, because each CIBIS client is unique, we will work closely with you to determine the right steps for your needs:
1. Initial phone discussion with a CIBIS team member where the client describes their needs, requirements and business issues requiring a solution.
2. Depending on the complexity of the solution CIBIS will provide an overview of the products, services and solutions that CIBIS can deliver to address the client’s needs in a follow-up phone call. If the clients requirements are significantly complex a face to face meeting will be scheduled (in this situation all appropriate stake holders from the organisation should be present).
3. If required a presentation and demonstration of the solution as it relates to the client’s needs will be developed and presented.
4. At this point a decision is made as to the whether a standard solution will meet the clients requirements or whether further project scoping and/or professional services are required to fully meet the clients requirements including system customisation and integration with the clients existing systems.
If a standard solution is required, the following will take place:
- CIBIS will prepare and submit a proposal to the client
- Client signs off on the standard solution proposal and provides an order to CIBIS
- Based on agreed timeframes the hardware, network and/or software is delivered to the client
- If the client order includes training, product installation and/or other customer support services, those items will be scheduled to coincide with product delivery
- Subsequently a client might also consider additional CIBIS services such as our network and system audit and intrusion detection analysis
If project scoping is required, the following will take place:
- CIBIS will prepare and submit a proposal for project scoping to the client
- Client signs off on the project scoping proposal and provides an order to CIBIS
- CIBIS and the client will work together to conduct a formal project scoping engagement which will include Requirements Gathering; Analysis and Solution Definition; Final Report and Proposal for Implementation; and Implementation of Solution
The CIBIS Schedule of Fees and Charges for the above services are available upon request.
