GE Commercial Finance Asset Management Services is responsible for all of the Equipment GE owns in the Asia Pacific region with services including residual value advice, industry analysis, equipment & valuation advice, pricing and remarketing of all assets that are at end of lease, repossessed, surplus or returned. The databases, matrices and other information to be stored for Asset Management represented significant Intellectual Property and is pivotal to daily operations of the business .The challenge for GE was to provide more accessibility and usability while securing the data via company-wide intranet applications.

Solution

CIBIS developed and implemented a specialist web site for GE to showcase capital equipment valuations and lending guidelines whilst visually profiling multi million dollar assets. A front end sales and secure intranet solution was developed, along with valuation tables, tools and reports. As a result - the site significantly boosted the usage and referrals to the site for customers and more than doubled the performance internally.
