Business Travel

Domestic

All University domestic car rental bookings are to be made through the University Online Booking Engine. The Avis AWD number P662000 is to be entered into staff profiles on the Online Booking Engine to ensure you obtain the University Corporate Rates on this website. Regular renters should quote their Avis Preferred Wizard number on their Online Booking Engine Profiles.

When booking vehicles, you need to specify the car type, pick up and drop off date and times (incl. arrival Flight No. if applicable) and driver details as appropriate.

Avis provides a vehicle that features a GPS option, which offers you verbal and visual directions to your destination. Adelaide University have special rates assigned. Please ask for a Group P - Avis Navigator.

International

All University international car rental bookings are to be made through the University’s preferred Travel Management Companies.

Leisure Travel

Avis is pleased to offer special discounted leisure rates to University of Adelaide staff. When making a booking, just quote Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) number P668999.

In addition, click on the Avis Holiday Pass link to print off discount vouchers, giving you the following extra benefits:

• 3rd day of a weekend rental FREE
• 6th day of any rental FREE
• $10 off a 2-day weekend rental

When you reach the site, just enter the AWD number P668999, and the password "adelaide_uni", and follow the prompts. Once you have printed your vouchers, click on Visit Avis Website or call 136 333 to make a booking.

NB: Avis includes Loss Damage Waiver cover in the daily rental price with an excess of $1,100 and an option to reduce the excess to $385 by paying $15.40/day Excess Reduction cover (including GST). When on holidays, you will need to consider all insurance coverage options carefully, as liability for any damage will be the individual's responsibility.
